(Why don't you make this forum send out a notification when someone replies to my message? That would be very convenient.)

AFAIK, it's not available online, and THAT would be great to have a searchable English-Armenian dictionary of technical terms on-line. I was told that SEUA publishes such book every year and tries to incorporate all new technology terms in each issue. At least it is something, though I'm not sure what the quality of this book is. Again, it's something, which is... mmmmm... better than nothing anyway :)

> Are you trying to sell us that Dictionary?

What made you think I'm trying to sell something? This is not a rhetorical question and I would like you to answer it.

Show me ONE "serious" book in Russian. Again, this is not rhetorical. (note: "Windows for Teapots" is not serious, at least for me. :) Beleive me, it's a huge mistake to rely on Russian technical sources. I understand there are rather psychological barriers for most people in Armenia: they understand and comprehend Russian much better than English. But that's only a matter of time. Even knowing Japanese and German is advantageous compared to Russian simply because those are countries (US and the English language aside for a moment) that MAKE technologies we use today.

I'm really sorry for not participating. I'd be more than happy to participate next time. I know the history of Armenian encoding standards, am familiar with the related problems, etc.

I suppose this portal is for eveyone. Let's make it not suck.
