The Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE)
of Armenia is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established by initiative group of Armenian businessmen in May 2000 with the generous support of the Eurasia Foundation. It is the only professional association that unites high-tech private and public companies in Armenia.
The mission of the UITE is to consolidate efforts of Armenian high-tech companies for development and promotion of ICT sector through advocacy, lobbying, marketing and consultancy, provision of trainings and ICT industry statistics. Currently, the UITE incorporates 15 member companies working in such technologically advanced areas as Software Development, EDP Hardware, Internet Service Provision, etc

Enterprise Incubator Foundation
Enterprise Incubator Foundation
is a non-profit business development incubator operating in Armenia and supporting local technology companies. We were established in 2002 by the Government of Armenia to assist IT and Hi-Tech companies and stimulate economic growth of these sectors. EIF is funded by a loan from the World Bank within the "Enterprise Incubator" initiative.
Mission Our overall goal is to stimulate economic growth of Armenia by assisting the local Information and High Technology enterprises in business and skills development areas and stimulating entrepreneurial activity and start-up formation in the country.
Objectives
- Promote Armenian technology companies and their products in international markets
- Improve managerial and professional capabilities of local technology companies
- Upgrade knowledge and skills of faculty and students of technical departments of higher educational establishments
- Assist with formation of technology start-ups and their further development
- Create new channels for attracting foreign direct investment to Armenia

The Armenian High Tech Council of America, Inc. (ArmenTech)
was formed to promote and support the creation and development of technology-based businesses in Armenia. ArmenTech's mandate is to utilize the collective expertise of our membership to support and enhance the success of companies in the software and high-tech sector in Armenia. ArmenTech has recently been incorporated in Massachusetts as a non-profit corporation and has applied for 501 (C) 3 status.
Many of ArmenTech's members are proven entrepreneurs and executives that have already generated millions of dollars in economic value in high-tech companies in the US. Other members have already created significant business in Armenia. ArmenTech today has 20-30 key members that have held meetings in Boston, the Silicon Valley, and New York. ArmenTech is the core leadership of this group of IT professionals that will be growing quickly in the near future and will be opening new branches in Armenia, Europe, and throughout the Armenian Diaspora.
The objectives of ArmenTech are:
- To encourage the successful development of the high-tech and IT sectors in the Republic of Armenia with the intent of providing employment and improving the economy;
- To support the efforts of providing the infrastructure, facilities, equipment, and competitive telecommunications services necessary to support the incubation and expansion of software, e-commerce, Internet, and other high-tech companies in Armenia;
- To assist in the development of professional training programs in software engineering, project management, application development, and IT services marketing;
- To promote the education of high school and university students in Armenia, preparing them for careers in the high-tech and software industries.
Three more Board members will be elected later from the leaders of open source projects
